The Volunteer Policy outlines the requirements for Blues Union Netball Club Inc. volunteers.

BACKGROUND

Volunteers are the backbone of the Club and are required to comply and work within the Code of Conduct's for Netball Australia, Netball Queensland, Redlands Netball Association and the Blues Union Netball Club Constitution & By-Laws. (See links below)

All volunteers must:

*Be a current financial member (either a playing or non-playing member);

​

*If closely involved with the players, hold the current legislative requirement for working with children; all over 18 to have a valid Blue Card  (apply using the link below) and complete Netball Australia's online course Safeguarding Children and Young people (access the Course using the Netball Aus. learning centre link below);

​

*Coaches and umpires to attain relevant accreditation (access the Course using the Netball Aus. learning centre link below);

​

*Not have any outstanding discipline action against them.​
