It is with mixed emotions that we announce that, after careful consideration and discussion, the Management Committee has made the difficult decision to dissolve the club, effective immediately.

 

This decision was not made lightly. Over recent months, we have faced ongoing challenges, in particular this year declining membership currently sitting at 12 playing members across all age groups, financial constraints, limited volunteer capacity, and shifting community and regulatory needs. Despite our best efforts to sustain operations and explore alternative solutions, it has become clear that continuing the club is no longer viable.

 

We are incredibly proud of what this club has accomplished and deeply grateful for the dedication, enthusiasm, and camaraderie each of you has contributed. The relationships built, events hosted, and impact made in our community are lasting achievements that we will always value including being a founding club of the Redlands Netball Association in 1990.

In the coming weeks, we will take the necessary administrative steps to formally close the organization. This will include settling outstanding obligations and distributing any remaining assets in accordance with our bylaws and applicable regulations.

 

If you have questions regarding memberships, refunds, or final activities, please contact email the club bluesunionnetballclub@gmail.com or reply to the email you were sent on 18/02/2026. Any member that has already registered for the 2026 season will be given a full refund as well as any uniforms purchased this year.  If you wish to transfer to a new club we will help you in any way possible to transition to a new club. We will also organise any Play on Voucher funds we have received to be transferred to your new club to cover their membership fees.
